Hello there! I’m Ness Flores, a Filipino restaurant chef with a passion for authentic, home-cooked Filipino cuisine. I also have a flair for technology, cycling, and a range of fascinating topics. Welcome to my world, where food and technology meet in perfect harmony.
Filipino Chef
I started my culinary journey in the small kitchen of Jeepney Stop Homecook Filipino Restaurant in Jacksonville, Florida. Although I am not a trained chef, I have a deep appreciation for Filipino cuisine and a penchant for preserving our Filipino heritage and tradition. I am always exploring our old traditions to find the unique flavors of Filipino food that I grew up with so that I can focus on the best ingredients available so that I can make it as authentic as possible and share them with our customers for a memorable dining experience. My goal is to define and preserve tradition not change it.
Tech Enthusiast
I worked in the IT industry for 25 years, starting in 1993 as an Analyst/Developer, Computer Tech, and later on as a Network and Database Administrator. My work focused on Server Installation and Configurations, Network Installation, Microsoft Server platform, including Windows NT 4 to Windows Server 2012, MS SQL Server 6.0/7/2000/2005, MySQL4/5, Linux Ubuntu Server, IIS, and Apache. Now I’m merely a tech enthusiast when I’m not cooking adobo. I still love the world of technology from the latest gadgets to the inner workings of digital systems. I’m constantly amazed by how innovation shapes our daily lives.

Beyond the kitchen, and the tech world, I'm endlessly curious about a myriad of subjects. Science, astronomy, and religion are areas that have always piqued my interest.
